To work towards a Project Management qualification whilst working as part of the Grosvenor London Estate’s Service Performance Team (SPT). The SPT are responsible for
managing all maintenance provision across the London Estate. Time will be shared on rotation between:

The Major Works team – Responsible for the management of the delivery of Grosvenor’s planned preventative maintenance 10 year plan and undertaking ad-hoc small and medium development project work.
The Fabric and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team – Responsible for the management of day to day planned and reactive maintenance.
The Soft Services and Major M&E
Projects Service Performance Manager – Responsible for the management of cleaning, manned security and the installation of major M&E equipment.
The Energy Saving Fund Portfolio (ESF) – Responsible for the delivery of small
retrofit projects across the estate, to improve building performance and help reduce Grosvenor’s carbon omissions.
The SMDP Team (SMDP) – Responsible
for the delivery of small and medium development projects, across Mayfair and Belgravia, generating rental income, development profit on cost, and supporting Grosvenor’s 2030 environmental and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

To learn and assist with the undertaking of the responsibilities set out below:

To learn and assist in the preparation of detailed specifications for construction work and contract documents.
To learn the benefits and techniques of assessing tender submissions and undertake basic tender analysis.
To develop an understanding of how to prepare project accounts and financial management and undertake the preparation of accounts for basic projects
To learn how to undertake basic surveys of properties and understand the benefit of running a 10 Year Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.
To understand and work within health and safety requirements when running a project.
To work with project managers to carry out ad hoc surveys and reports
To work with wider Grosvenor teams to ensure the successful delivery of maintenance activities
To learn how to, and assist project managers in, obtaining planning and/or listed building consent as required.
To learn all relevant statutory requirements for construction and facilities management projects, when they are relevant and how to apply them to projects.
To liaise with tenants and key individuals affected by or involved in project work.
To assist in monitoring fabric, maintenance & electrical repairs and liaising with suppliers and tenants
Reviews existing ways of working and identifies opportunities for contributing to sustainability improvements.
To help support the delivery of the Major Works, ESF, and SMDP project portfolios.
To learn risk, programme, and cost management, across a range for projects

Key Requirements

Genuine interest in a career in Project Management with a property company
Educated to GCSE level obtaining at least 5 A*- C Grades (including at least two Science based subject or double science, Maths’s, and English)3. The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the Project Management Apprenticeship L4.
Experience of working and collaborating as part of a team
experience of problem solving and applying logic
Able to demonstrate enthusiasm, tenacity, and rigor
Good interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Well-organized
Good IT abilities, with some experience of Excel
Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn

Desired Skills

Qualifications required

To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least.

Future prospects

Fixed term contract, following apprenticeship the individual can apply for roles within Grosvenor.

Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship L4 including Functional Skills in Maths and English
