GLL - Middlegate House - Head Office Site
Fast-paced Admin team, processing high volumes of employee data, new starters, payroll and CoreHR records. Support references, shift patterns and employee queries while working closely with People Team.

Process new starter information to ensure employees are correctly set up on CoreHR and added to payroll in a timely manner.
Create and maintain shift patterns and relevant employee information within CoreHR.
Complete employment references and ensure all required pre-employment information is accurately recorded.
Run control reports for data corrections and ensure employee records held on CoreHR are accurate, complete and kept up to date.
Respond to employee and manager queries, providing accurate and timely information and escalating more complex queries to the relevant individuals.
Maintain confidentiality and handle employee information appropriately in line with data protection requirements.
Support the wider People team with administration and People-related activities as required.
Undertake other ad hoc administrative responsibilities and duties as required to support the needs of the business.

At GLL you will be working towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification over the course of 15 Months’.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when processing employee information. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities and deadlines. • Good understanding of confidentiality and the importance of handling employee information appropriately. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with employees, managers and People Business Partners. • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider People team.

Qualifications required

G.C.S.E/ Functional skills/Equivalent Maths & English Grade – A - C required

Future prospects

While there is currently no progression route within the team, employees will have opportunity to develop their skills and experience in the role.
