● Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions at our partner schools during term time and at sports camps during the school holidays.
● Ensure all activities are inclusive, engaging and tailored to varying abilities.
● Maintain a safe environment by following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
● Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour.
● Inspire the next generation through passionate, child-centred coaching.
● Always act as a positive role model for children.
We are looking for outstanding individuals who are curious, compassionate, and conscientious. With a passion for sport and working with children, you will be highly motivated by the opportunity to begin your sports coaching career with a small, caring, and ambitious company.
The successful candidate will work alongside and be mentored by an experienced sports coach.
Desired Skills
- A broad knowledge base across multiple sports. - Patience, care, and compassion are critical soft skills. - Experience working with primary aged children preferably in a sports coaching/volunteering capacity.

Qualifications required
It would be desirable if the candidates studied sport at school or college.
Future prospects
We would like the successful candidate to be able to be offered a sports coaching role with Ignite Sport at the end of their apprenticeship.
