Living Better
As a multi-channel marketing Apprentice, you will support our marcomms team to bring our work to life, creating posts, videos, photos, blogs and campaign content that celebrates the work we do and the communities we work with. No experience needed, just creativity and enthusiasm.

This role will help you to build a portfolio of creative work, whilst developing skills in content creation, digital marketing and storytelling.

Daily Responsibilities:

Create social media, newsletters and web content
Capture stories from participants that demonstrate the impact that our physical activity interventions make
Support events and campaign activity
Create case studies, including gathering stories
Turn data into engaging narratives for reports, bids and campaigns
Support communications around programme launches
Support the development of internal and external documents, presentations and key communication materials
Learn how marketing works in a local charity

Desired Skills

Knowledge and Experience (Not all essential – training will be provided) • Interest in marketing, communications and story telling • Basic IT skills (email, online systems, documents). • Interest in social media and digital content • Commitment to learning and professional development. • A full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable due to travel across the county.

Qualifications required

Grade C/4 in both English and Maths and a related digital or business qualification.

Future prospects

Opportunity to develop marketing portfolio within the industry either through continued employment with the Active Partnership or within charity/physical activity sector.

Training to be delivered

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 including Functional Skills in Maths and English

Living Better was established in 2017 and over that time we have worked closely together on a number of projects and health and wellbeing initiatives to enable patients to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to reach their own health and wellbeing goals.
