Food and Beverage Team Member level 2 apprenticeship training course

Who is it for?

For those taking their first step on the career ladder or new to hospitality, and work in a variety of establishments, including hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Blended delivery

One-on-one sessions, Self-learning activities, Off-the-job training, Virtual support, and Group learning session.

End point assessment

Two hour workplace observation with verbal questioning, and 60 minute interview with 9 verbal questions, underpinned by a portfolio of evidence.

Duration

13 months + end point assessment

  • Do you currently work in a customer-facing food and beverage role?
  • Do you assemble and serve food and beverages to business standards?
  • Are you responsible for applying food safety standards, including managing allergens, during your daily tasks?
  • Do you have the opportunity to handle customer complaints or issues and resolve them?
  • Within your role do you need to rotate and maintain stock?
    In your role do you process orders, payments, or bookings?
