For individuals undertaking apprenticeships
All learning resources are accessible via Lifetime’s online learning platform, Mylife.
A wide range of support and wellbeing education avenues can be located on the virtual learning platform advice and guidance sections, either through their trainer or accessed themselves.
All resources have been updated to reference to applying COVID 19 regulations to role.
Learners have access to a range of welfare support personnel internal and external to Lifetime depending upon level of need. We also work with closely with our employers to ensure their welfare support is also promoted to learners.
Lifetime Regional Trainer/Coach will work with learners and their employers to identify the best time / environment and tools to use to support their continuation of learning.
Availability of group and individual webinar taught sessions.
Learners are introduced to relevant virtual learning environments introduced during sign up visit.
The trainer / coach will adapt assessments to suit the learning environment.
Formal assessments will be adapted in line with awarding organisation advice and can include video recordings and live streaming.
To maintain an open channel of communication with the Lifetime Regional Trainer/Coach and their employer to establish a suitable solution.
Learning for our Chef Academy programmes have been transferred onto video tutorials.
Lifetime has worked closely with Awarding organisation to adapt assessments which require specialist equipment or facilities so they can continue to complete their qualification or apprenticeship standard.
Ability to provide learners hard copies of information and learning.
Lifetime Regional Trainer/Coach will work with the learner to identify suitable times and environments for learning to continue.
Lifetime work closely with employer to provide access to work place devices and with some employers this includes dedicated tablets for apprentices to use.
Additional devices have been made available to learners where assessments have been required for functional skills tests.
Lifetime’s dedicated Learner Support Team will get in touch with the learner to discuss their SEN/EHCP report and see if they require any extra support i.e. speech and language tutor, magnified screens, occupational tutors, which will be sourced through Lifetime and the Local Authority.
Monthly check-ins take place with the learner to see whether they need any additional support, need Lifetime to get involved with their learning or complete access arrangements with them if they need extra time or modified papers only.
As an internal measure the Learner Support Team will continuously touch base with Regional Trainers and offer further support to them and their learner if required.
Lifetime will support any learner to have access arrangements as long as there is a need and it is within their normal ways of working.
For Individuals Learning Under Advanced Learner Loans

Lifetime offer virtual learning environments for all aspects of the course.
Adaptations to assessments include video recordings or live streaming
To maintain an open channel of communication with the Lifetime Regional Trainer/Coach and their employer to establish a suitable solution.
Courses have been made available to be completed online in a virtual classroom.
Assessments at have had adjustments made to cater for virtual delivery.
Hard copy assessment and learning resources can be sent on demand.

Please note: Adult Education Budget is another funding stream, however we are not yet delivering any programmes that would sit within this stream so we can revisit this section once we have confirmed what we will be delivering.
