Our apprenticeship recruitment process
Whether you’re looking to minimise skill gaps, invest in new talent or to simply spend your apprenticeship levy, we make hiring an apprentice easy. Our recruitment process for apprentices is designed to enable business growth and find new talent.
Every candidate should fit in with your culture, bring new ideas to the table and enhance your current processes. That’s why we have our rigorous, in-depth screening process to help recruit apprentices for your business.
We start with the apprentice job posting, working with you to write a job advert that encourages potential applicants. We will then list the post on a variety of recruitment channels, screening all applicants for eligibility before conducting telephone interviews. Once we’ve got our shortlist, we’ll present our candidates to you.
After interviews have taken place and you’ve chosen your apprentice, we’ll work with you to onboard your chosen applicant and integrate them seamlessly with your business. Read more about our hiring an apprentice process here.
Supporting social mobility through recruiting apprentices
At Lifetime, we’re proud to be a Patron Member of the BAME Apprenticeship Alliance. That means we’re actively committed to supporting learners of all backgrounds. Our screening process focuses on applicants’ potential and helps remove unconscious bias, providing opportunities for those in BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) communities.
