Fifteen Group are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement and Provisioning Assistant to join their dynamic team at their Stoke-on-Trent office.
The successful candidate will be working towards their Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship qualification over the course of 12-18 months.
This role will be crucial in supporting the procurement of IT equipment, fire and security installations, broadband services, and Microsoft licenses for our clients. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with general inquiries, handling calls and providing excellent front-line customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be comfortable managing multiple tasks, and either possess or be willing to learn an understanding of procurement processes. Experience in IT, telecommunications, or security-related sectors would be an advantage, but we are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience provided they are confident and computer-literate.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement and Provisioning:
● Order Equipment: Assist with the procurement of IT hardware and equipment, fire and security installation materials, and associated supplies for client projects.
● Broadband Services: Procure broadband services and liaise with relevant suppliers to ensure timely provisioning for clients’ connectivity requirements.
● Microsoft Licenses: Assist with ordering and managing Microsoft licenses, ensuring clients are provided with the correct versions and quantities required.
● Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure best pricing, product availability, and timely delivery of equipment and services.
● Stock Management: Maintain accurate records of ordered items, ensuring stock levels are monitored, and stockouts are avoided.
● Procurement Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and associated documentation. Track deliveries and handle any discrepancies or issues.
Client Support & Front-Line Enquiries:
● General Inquiries: Be the first point of contact for general client inquiries, answering calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner.
● Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients regarding procurement requirements, follow up on order statuses, and offer basic technical support as needed.
● Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to procurement and service delivery, escalating where necessary.
Administrative Support:
● Record Keeping: Ensure all procurement transactions are accurately recorded in internal systems, maintaining organized records of orders, invoices, and communication with vendors and clients.
● Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and supplier performance to the management team.
● Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with internal departments, including IT, fire & security installation teams, and customer support, to ensure smooth procurement and provisioning processes.

● You will be assigned an expert Lifetime Training coach to support you throughout your apprenticeship journey, with regular face to face and virtual catch ups every 4-6 weeks.

Personal qualities
● The successful applicant must be dedicated to completing their Level 3 Business Administration qualification over a 12-18 month period.
● Whilst a background in procurement, administration, or customer service is beneficial, we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience.
Qualifications required
GCSE Maths and English at a Grade C or Level 4 or above required.
