The Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship provides the opportunity for team members to develop skills and knowledge to further their careers within the hospitality industry.

Key information

Who is it for?

For those taking their first step on the career ladder or new to hospitality, and work in a variety of establishments, including hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Blended delivery

1-1 facilitated learning sessions with Lifetime Learning Coach, through Lifetime’s blended learning approach and self study via online learning platform - Aptem.

End point assessment

90 minute Multiple choice knowledge test, 2 hour workplace observation, Business project and 40 minute professional discussion.

Duration

13 months + end point assessment

The new Food & Beverage Team Member Level 2 apprenticeship programme is now available - this new version replaces the Hospitality Team Member Level 2 apprenticeship for food and beverage roles.

  • Is your role in housekeeping working as part of a team?
  • Required to clean and maintain bedrooms and public areas?
  • Required to maintain housekeeping supplies?
  • Required to use a variety of chemicals and equipment?
  • Required to identify and report maintenance needs?
  • Is your role in a reception area?
  • Required to speak to customers either face to face, on the phone or online?
  • Required to provide information to customers and answer queries?
  • Required to check customers in and out?
  • Required to take customer reservations and bookings?
  • Required to deal with a variety of payment methods?
