Operational Delivery Officers work to ensure the country remains in operation. Working to ensure that citizens get access to services and protection, as and when required. The role is varied and involves working on the front line in different public-facing environments.

  • Deliver public services to a diverse range of customers e.g. vulnerable people or those requiring extra support to access and use services?
  • Have the opportunity to use leadership skills to develop productive working relationships and resolve workplace issues?
  • Allowed to collate, store, dispose and share data securely within your work environment to avoid legal repercussions?
  • Allowed to review, validate and process information from a range of sources and use it to meet customer’s needs?
  • Allowed to utilise and develop techniques around your own resilience, time management and support networks?
  • Allowed to identify problems and use a range of problem-solving techniques?

Qualifications included

As part of the apprenticeship, learners are also required to achieve the following qualifications:

  • Operational Delivery Principles Level 2 Award
  • Operational Delivery Advanced Level 3 Certificate
