Senior Production Chef

Level 3 apprenticeship

 


Supports chefs to develop their leadership skills to successfully lead a team whilst managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen and production of centrally developed standardised menus. Chefs will be able to monitor budgets and service in order to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Required to work as a shift leader or supervisor in a kitchen?
  • Required to motivate and set realistic but challenging objectives for the team?
  • Required to monitor and record all aspects of HACCP ( Hazard analysis and critical control points)?
  • Required to prepare, cook and present food to agreed food safety practices and guidelines?
  • Required to understand the nutritional value of the dishes on your menu and how to amend these where required?
  • Required to carry out risk assessments in your area of work?
